VET Lab for Schools is a brand new RTO dedicated to providing a premium service to Schools across Australia.

We are dedicated entirely to delivering the VET Sport & Rec Program.  We’ve worked in schools.  We’ve taught VET, assessed VET, audited courses and we GET IT.

We are serious about quality, we are serious about first class service and we are serious about being the RTO Schools can trust.

Thinking about coming on board?  Here are a few reasons why VET Lab is THE RTO for your school.

We only accept a limited number of schools to our program so we can provide tailored professional development to the teachers delivering the program. It’s at no extra cost, because it’s about maintaining quality in our program.

We update our learning and assessment ANNUALLY, based on student and teacher feedback and industry consultation. Feedback is compulsory so we can live our vision of BEST RTO for schools in Australia.

From enquiry to certification, we oversee the whole process and do all the heavy lifting, giving teachers time to teach while we do the administration!

Interactive & Contextualised Learning

No boring Unit by Unit workbooks. This is a contextualised learning program divided into six learning topics, with interactive learning materials and relevant industry validated learning scenarios.

Our Process

Have we met?

I'm Casey Helman

the CEO of the VET Lab for Schools, an RTO dedicated to delivering VET in secondary schools across Australia.  I’m obsessed with building better learners through an innovative approach to delivering VET in Schools.  My passion is building an RTO that partners with schools to deliver a quality service that they can trust.

I founded the VET Lab and designed its programs based on the results of a survey for more than 150 VET Teachers, and my own experience teaching VET in secondary schools. My goal is to breakdown the unique barriers and challenges teachers face so they can focus on what is most important – quality education that builds better learners.

I’m an experienced educator, RTO Owner, consultant and quality Auditor.  I’m a trusted expert in vocational education in Australia, and the Principal Consultant of Casey Helman Consulting.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me wrangling my two feisty children with my husband Rick.

I can't wait to welcome you onboard with Vet Lab for Schools
